What can you do to protect yourself?
That's a good question, I don't how can explain that, but sometime although when you feel "Safe" doesn't means you are ok, but it's like a form to say you must be pending for any situation. I think the only way to learn about this is to live alone for 2 or 3 years, and it learn experience about what bad for you or good.
In conclusion we have to have be careful an any situation and think as such as
1) We are not in us country.
2) The customs are no the same, and the people too.
3) What am I should do when happen something wrong or unsave?.
4) Don't accept something to other people if you unknow them.
I think those are good ways to help protect yourself. Canada is a lot safer than many other countries, but we still have to think about crime.
